Not impresssed that on Saturday night, when trying to order in an empty pub the lass behind the bar expected me to wait because ahe was deep in conversation. The other lass was serving, and was told by lazy arse that she would be with me in a couple of minutes. Went to the Clock Tower instead where the staff actually work.

We had a very delicious vegetable balthi with chips and The bear burger. Very happy we could take our dog into the pub. Very attentive staff and lovely surroundings. 10 out of 10 from us!

I had a meal from here from the specials board it was over cooked and dry when i spoke to the waitress and she informed the chef i could her shouting from the kitchen that she was offended! 10 for the meal that was from a deep fat fryer. I have been here many times before and the food has been brilliant not sure if it has changed hands. We went to the King William today and the food and service was excellent. Wont be going again to the bear on the square!
