Local park with swings etc for the kids and there's exercise machines a bowling green and tennis courts. Not sure if you need to join a club to use these laat two.
Great facility for kids, very popular. Also, on a clear day, excellent viewpoint for Lake District mountains, incorporating a plaque at the best viewing point, detailing which mountains can be seen
