Great location. Nice walks in the area to the old lighthouse and close to whicham for the walk up black combe mountain. Caravan was as expected and nice to be close you the park for the children xx
Have family local to the area. Lovely caravans, we took the dog which was great. I was a little bit disappointed because we was never informed about the noise from the diggers and work going on with the new Platt forms for the potential caravans being placed. No decking or chairs to sit out on with its awesome weather we had. Hard to relax. Also the caravan wasn't as clean as last time when we stayed, must of been to hot. Plenty of water sports here. Within local distance to go around to places and plenty for adults and children to do even down to a picnic up ulpha bridge with a cold dip. Have fun and go try it out. ;)
I have just returned from a long weekend with my husband and two dogs, its been a few years since we have stayed in a caravan and my husband was dubious. The caravan was clean and comfortable, much better than we had expected. The whole place had a lovely feel, everyone was very friendly, staff all waved when passing. The walk around the lake past bird sanctuary was lovely and beyond that the large beach and walks to Haverigg. We loved it and will hopefully return very soon. Top tip, take your camera.
Beautiful place, next to the sea, with water sports, lovely static caravan and a park for children.
We spent a wonderful, family Christmas here. Beautiful scenery & the grounds very clean. A fabulous, themed playpark for my 2 year old grandson to happily play. Everyone was very friendly. I would like to come back again.
